Microsoft Power Point is part of the Office Suite that is used to make presentations. Power Point enables you to create colorful slide shows to publish on-screen, on paper, or across the Internet. You can create presentations using features like audio, video and other multimedia content provided by the software. Here we will make a presentation using a blank template. This way we can discuss all the features of Power Point.
You can start the application by doing the following

As you can see there are three different ways you can create a presentation. We will discuss the first and the last method here.
The AutoContent wizard is the easiest way to create Power Point presentations. The wizard creates a generic presentation for you based on the options you choose while working through the wizard's four steps. Just follow the instructions and select the appropriate options you want

The other way is to use a Blank presentation Select Blank Presentation from the choices
You will get another new window that reads Choose an AutoLayout
Select one of the styles, in this case we will choose the Bulleted Style

At this point you are on the actual slide of your presentation. The slide is split into two sections. The one on the top is the Title of the slide. You can type the following "Test Presentation" in this section. In the bottom section, you add the content of the slide. In other words it is the body of your slides. Go ahead enter some information. Remember this is a bulleted style, so every time you hit Enter you will get a new bullet. Once you are done, you can make a new slides by doing the following.
